Three New Website Launches This Past Month
It’s been an exciting month, with three successful website launches that I’m thrilled to share. Each project had its unique challenges and goals, but all were focused on creating stunning, user-friendly websites that look great and are easy to navigate and maintain.
Whakaari Aotearoa Drama New Zealand: A Major Rebrand for a Leading Non-Profit
This month, Whakaari Aotearoa Drama New Zealand, formerly Drama NZ, underwent a significant rebrand. The project focused on creating a more modern, functional platform to support the organisation’s growth. One of the main priorities was building a resource directory, allowing members to access everything they need in one centralised location easily. We also revamped the membership system, offering a more modern and user-friendly experience, and implemented the new logo and brand colours. This project showcases the power of a clean, organised website for non-profits. Check out the new Whakaari Aotearoa Drama New Zealand website here: www.drama.org.nz.
Black Bull Electrical and Plumbing: A Creative Collaboration
Black Bull Electrical and Plumbing was my first collaboration with Cabria Design, and it was a fun and unique challenge. I focused on web development while ensuring Belinda Cabria’s design was implemented as closely as possible in Squarespace. Although I’m not usually a fan of Squarespace’s Fluid Engine, it came in handy in this case. The Fluid Engine made the design more efficient and easier to implement. Additionally, the ability to save sections in Squarespace proved helpful, allowing us to reuse elements across multiple pages. A unique aspect of the site was the layered navigation, featuring call-to-action buttons on a separate layer, a custom-designed form in the header and a newsletter sign-up styled to match the overall design. Turley Property Advocates: A Quick Turnaround for a New Business
I met Corinne Turley during a networking event, who was ready to launch her own property advocacy business. Time was of the essence, and she needed a website up and running quickly. With a fantastic collaboration with Carlz J Söda, who handled the branding and photography, we launched the website in just a week! It was a whirlwind, but it’s great to know that when time is of the essence, we can pull off a fast and efficient turnaround.
